Streamlined Conversations: WhatsApp's Pinning Power Unleashed for Multiple Messages

Top 3 WhatsApp's Messages Stay Handy

In a bid to enhance communication efficiency, WhatsApp has unveiled a new feature enabling users to pin up to three messages in a chat, TechCrunch reported today. Initially introduced last December for both individual and group chats, this functionality empowers users to pin various message types, from text to images and polls. With pinned messages, users gain swift access to vital information, fostering a smoother chatting experience.

To utilize the pinning feature, WhatsApp users can simply long-press on the desired message and select "Pin" from the menu. They enjoy flexibility in selecting the pinning duration, with options including 24 hours, the default 7 days, or an extended span of 30 days. However, there's currently no option for indefinitely keeping a message pinned, necessitating users to re-pin important messages every 30 days to maintain their prominence in the conversation. Alternatively, the "Star" feature can be used to flag messages for future reference.

WhatsApp recently updated its message pinning feature, now allowing users to pin up to three messages in a conversation. Previously limited to a single message, this enhancement offers users greater flexibility in organizing their chats. Alongside text, users can pin various message formats such as media, voice notes, and emojis. The feature is available in both individual and group chats, with options to pin messages for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days by default.

For those wondering how to pin messages in a WhatsApp chat, the process is simple. Long-press on the message you wish to pin, then tap on the three-dot menu located at the top right of your screen. From the drop-down menu, select 'Pin', and the message will be affixed to the top of the conversation, conveniently accessible just under the person's or group's name.
