WhatsApp Chats 'filter chats' Releases

Users would be able to quickly identify and access specific types of conversations based on their preferences, Meta-owned WhatsApp is rolling out a new update that would allow users to filter chats, WaBetaInfo reported. According to a WhatsApp observer, the messaging app sent an update through the TestFlight beta program, bringing the version to 23.25.10.76. A feature called filter chats is available to some beta testers and more users will be able to use it in the coming weeks.

Through this feature, users would be able to quickly identify and access specific types of conversations based on their preferences.
The screenshot shown here shows that WhatsApp is introducing a new filter row that provides users with new actions.

The app offers enhanced features so users can easily manage their conversations. They also allow users to get a list of unread chats, which would make it easier for them to select the messages they want to reply to.

Users can also get a list of group chats to prioritize managing and engaging with.

WhatsApp is constantly improving the user experience and this new feature would give users more control over their conversations. Those who install the latest WhatsApp beta update for iOS will be able to use this feature.
"Users also have the ability to filter their chats exclusively to show chats from their contacts, further improving the customization and organization of their messaging experience," WaBetaInfo said.
